Helton Creek Falls

One of Georgia's lesser known waterfalls is Helton Creek
Falls,
near Blood Mountain. I don't know why. It is easily
accessible by a very passable gravel road, and the falls are very close
to the parking area. Don't stop when you reach the lower
falls. Helton Creek Falls also has a more spectacular upper falls
that is sure to please!If you want a nice drive, a short walk, and a spectacular sight-seeing reward while in the Helen / Cleveland area, be sure that Helton Creek Falls is on you list of things to do! Helton Creek Falls is on Helton Creek Road, off U.S. 19 about a mile South of Vogel State Park. |
